She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert W. Claus and Minnie C. Claus (Carls); her husband William Odegaard; her brothers, Russell William, Carl Jacob and Herbert Ernest "Ernie" Claus; her grandfather Jacob Claus; and her grandson Jesse Odegaard.

She is survived by: her children, Roger M. Odegaard (Janie) of Northwood, Bonnie Schlotzhauer (Lowell) of Austin, Minnesota and Paul Odegaard (Carol) of Lake Mills; her grandchildren, Bryan Odegaard (Kimberly), Lisa Wangsness (Barry), Adam Odegaard, Molly Odegaard, Sara Grena (Gary), Rachel Knutson (Timothy), Erin Schnoor and Joanne Schlotzhauer; her great grandchildren, Andrew, William, Joseph, Grace, Paul, Samuel, Isabelle, Nicholas, Erich, Jacob, Carter, Erika, Ella and Adeline; and her great great grandchildren, Allan Field (Kay), Ann Schallock (Al) and Ronda Smith (Scott). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Conner Colonial Chapel (1008 1st Ave S, Northwood, IA 50459). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
