Perry left this world on August 1, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Bessie Yawn Smith; his son Stuart Arthur Smith of Austin; and his brother Eugene E. Smith of Huntsville. He is survived by: his significant other Betsy; his children, Linda Fullbright (Frank) of Baytown and Scott Smith (Jennifer) of Fanwood, NJ; his grandchildren, Taylor (Aimey), Travis, Bridget and William Smith; and his great grandchildren, Aria and Kai Fullbright.
