He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Plamparambil John Punnoose and Mariamma Punnoose; his wife Jessy Philip; his daughter Geol Mary Philip; his son-in-law Tiji Thankachan; his grandsons, John and Ivan of Newcastle; his son Gikku Stephen Geephilip; his daughter-in-law Juhi Sara Philip; his grandchildren, Elna, Emmelyn and Ezlyn of Austin; his siblings, Aleyamma (Lalu), Raju, John (Kunjumon), Chellamma, Annamma (Gracy), Soman, Jacob, Mariamma (Sherly) and Shibu; and his brothers-in-law, Aby (Molly), Baji (Mariamma) and Siby (Ancy). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Gregorios Orthodox Church (14619 Bois-D-Arc Rd, Manor, TX 78653). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cedar Park Cemetery (Hwy 183 and Park Street, Cedar Park, TX 78613). The Covid years brought the loss of friends and family members, and in 2021 he built a home on his ancestral property in Pallom.
