Phuong Le Tran Thornton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phuong Le Tran Thornton of Austin, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Meng Shu Liu and Lai T. Tran; her brother Nguyen Pham; and her former husband Steve Thornton. She is survived by: her boyfriend Ron Dixon; her daughter Kelly Thornton; and her siblings, Van Liu, Quang Chanh Liu and Lan Tieu.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
