She was predeceased by: her former husband David Robert Seifert; and her siblings, Mary Louise Byrd and Larry Byrd (Faye). She is survived by: her sons, Brian Seifert (Brandy Dishner) and Eric Seifert (Claire); her grandson August; and her siblings, Tom Byrd (Judy), Paul Byrd (Nancy), Rita Majnerich, Maureen Lenz (Steve), Norma Jeanne Byrd (Joe Rosselot) and Rich Byrd (Debbie). She is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Pisgah Conservancy (pisgahconservancy.org) in western North Carolina.
