He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel Rodriquez; and his son Robert Quintanilla, Jr. (Evelyn). He is survived by: his children, Jessica Ragsdill (Rusty), Estella Doyal (James), Esther Batts (Don), John Quintanilla (Veronica), Rally Flores (Joe), Reuben Quintanilla (Monica), Roy Quintanilla (Minnie), Ramiro Quintanilla, Rene Quintanilla (Anna), David Quintanilla (Elena) and Rudy Quintanilla (Trisha). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
