He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Kelly Miller and Raymond Edmund Miller; and his son Doug (Roger). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Patricia Woodin; his children, Roger, Jr., Kate Friday (David), Kevin (Marilyn) and Chris (Karen); and his sister Dana Barber. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center or the Ascension Seton Foundation Marion Douglas Nurse Scholarship Endowment.
