Roman Chapa Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 17, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Roman Chapa in Austin, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Roman may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roman touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Chapa and Simona Chapa. He is survived by: his children, Mona Chapa of Lompoc, Robert Chapa of Austin, Chris Chapa of Solvang and Kathy Baker of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his sister Addie Kouba; his brother-in-law Tony Kouba; and his nephew Mark Kouba. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Bob requested contributions be made to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
