It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Flecha in Austin, Texas, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Ronald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ronald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Placido Flecha and Rosa Reinosa Flecha. He is survived by : his wife Gloria; his children, Samia Zoe, Ronald and Daniel; and his brother Edwin. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home (15709 Ranch Rd 620, Austin, TX 78717). A rosary was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (2500 Limmer Loop, Hutto, TX 78634).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations to St Jude's Children's Hospital, in honor of Ron's memory, and his strong advocacy for the care and wellbeing of young children.
