It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Reed Dyke (Austin, Texas), who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth Irene Reed and Richard Burt Dyke Sr.; her son Richard Lee Dyke; her siblings, Susan Reed Dyke Paulette, Laura Reed Dyke Jackson and Richard Burt Dyke Jr.; and her grandparents, Laura Moses and Dave Reed.
She is survived by : her daughter Susan Marie Levinson (Craig William Levinson); her granddaughters, Jessica Joan Kapnison (Nicholas P. Kapnison II) and Heather Ruth Levinson (Luca Izzo); her great grandchild Luna Caterina Izzo; her granddaughter Sierra Sky Blue; her great grandchild Sophia Marie Perez (Daniel Humphries); her nieces, Laura Hamman Fain and Elizabeth Hamman Reed Oliver (Morgan Dene Oliver); her great-nieces, Isabelle Hamman Oliver and Emma Lenoir Oliver; her niece Noelle Eos Subois Paulette; and also, Peyton Elena Sgouta Paulette and Michael Pearce.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth's daughter and granddaughters request donations be made in Ruth's honor to: ASPCA or The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
