It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Kirk Ellison (Austin, Texas), who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Nicole Ellison; his parents, Mary Alice and Samuel Lanham Ellison; his parents-in-law, Adell Dorsett Bernhardt and Clarence Alvin Bernhardt; his brother Jerry Ayres; his sisters-in-law, Wanda Jeanne Bernhardt and Linda Latta; and his nieces and nephews, Leslie Ayres, Jerry Eugene Ayres, Jr., Laurie Jurado and Elias Sammy Jurado.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Ellison; his sisters, Emily Haire and Sherri Pickett (David Pickett); his sisters-in-law, Patsy Ayres and Patsy Bernhardt; his brother Pat Ayres; his brother-in-law Don Latta; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Denise Haire, Lori Ayres, Kimberly Ayres, Amy Ayres, Carla Ayres, Ann Marie Ayres, Tonia Moore, Nicholas Haire, Samuel Haire, Preston Patten, Joe Pat Ayres, Chris Ayres, Ray Jurado, Drake Michael Jurado and David Blakely. He is also survived by family members and friends.
