He is survived by: his son San Diego (Sylvia); his wife Gloria B. Vela; his children, Noe (Virginia), Luis (Tracy), Fabian (Patricia), Vera Ortiz and Gloria Alicia (Roy); and his siblings, Minerva Garza, Thelma Barringer, Berta Contreras and Ricardo Vela.
