She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Rosenzweig and Rose Rosenzweig; her husband Samuel Aaron Steeg; and her siblings, Marx Rosenzweig, Irwin Ross and Helen Greenberg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Steeg Simkin and Susan Steeg (Sarah Calvert); and her grandson Ross Emanuel Simkin.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hebrew Rest Cemetery (2003 Pelopidas St, New Orleans, LA 70122).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Anti-Defamation League, Temple Sinai, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
