She was predeceased by : her parents, Antonio Rodriguez and Estela Orozco Rodriguez; her son Ivan Rodriguez; and her siblings, Guillermina Rodriguez and Elias Rodriguez.

She is survived by : her husband Jose Covarrubias; her children, Maria Rodriguez (Javier Tavira), Jairo Perea, David Covarrubias and Cruz Covarrubias; and her siblings, Maria Rodriguez, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Monica Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez and Alberto Rodriguez. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home (607 E Anderson Ln, Austin, TX 78752).
