She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Chapa; her parents, Rutilo Martinez and Trinidad Martinez; her brother Manuel Martinez; and her great-niece Natalie Morales.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Luna (Eric), Michael Chapa (Erica) and Steven Chapa (Alexa); her grandchildren, Eric Chapa, Jason Luna, Amanda Luna, Amber Luna, Mikayla Chapa, Emmry Chapa, Christian Chapa and Amelia Chapa; and her siblings, Hermalinda Alvarez, Emilio Martinez (Angie), Hortencia Chapa, Juanita Morales (Rene), Esperanza Martinez, Priscilla Rodriguez (Ignacio), Helen Hernandez (Felipe) and Lucy Martinez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers; Socorro requested attendees to consider making a donation to The Baby Natalie Memorial, in memory of her great-niece, Natalie Morales.
