He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Cruz and Reynalda Cruz; and his siblings, Saragoza "Gus" Cruz and Genevie Cantu. He is survived by: his wife Linda Cruz; his children, Erica Castillo, James Cruz and Elizabeth Peralez; his children-in-law, Rene, Adriana (Michelle Hernandez) and Felipe; his brothers, Albert, Mario Cruz of El Campo, Abel Cruz of Edna and Gregorio Cruz of El Paso; Starr. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
