He is survived by: his father James Hurt; his siblings, Lori De Leon (Eduardo) and Michael Bassford (Naivi Garcia); his uncle Ottis Poston; his aunt Charlene Poston; his nieces and nephews, Zachary De Leon, Jayden De Leon, Christian Bassford, Michael Bassford Jr., Jeremiah Garcia, Hope Amidon and Eviana Gonzales Bassford; his pet Izzy; and his close friend Travis Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the Musicians Foundation or PAWS Shelter of Central Texas – Kyle, Texas, in honor of Tony's love for music and animals.
