She was predeceased by: her parents, Chancy Salyer and Velma Salyer; her husband Allen Lee Pierce (Al); her son Richard (Angie); and her sisters, Pat Lewis and Noma Morrison.
She is survived by: her brother Mike Salyer (Martha); her children, Janet R Pierce, Allen N Pierce (Mary) and Gene E Pierce (Pam); her great grandchildren, Adrianne, Dakota, Allen, Marilyn, Gracie, Andrew, Kyle, Callie, Ava, Kaleb, Bradley and Grayson; and her great great grandchild Christopher.
Over the years, she donated many gallons of blood through the Austin area blood bank- with a rare blood type they would call her to remind her when it was time again for the donation.
