It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlene Ann Schoen (Austin, Texas), born in Round Rock, Texas, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wolff and Betty Wolff; and her husband Truman Schoen. She is survived by: her brothers, Howard Wolff and Roy Wolff (Shirley); her daughters, Chris Guthrie and Teresa Wheatley; her grandchildren, Kimberly Turnage (Rick), Jennifer Duncan (Dan), Brandon Guthrie (Julie), Chad Wheatley and Amanda Swor (Trey); and her great grandchildren, Connor Turnage, Peyton Turnage, Arin Turnage, Scott Wheatley, Caden Wheatley, Vaughn Guthrie, Caleb Swor and Avery Swor. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association loving memory of Verlene.
