He was predeceased by : his wife Norma Lee Krenek of Taylor, TX; his parents, Fredrick Klaus and Anna Klaus (Prokschl) of Taylor, TX; and his grandparents, Friedrich and Marie Klaus of Elgin, TX.

He is survived by : his children, Randy (Becky), Mark (Debbie), Steven (Julie), Kevin (Robin) and Linda Kurio (Floyd); his grandchildren, Valerie, Krista, Randall, Derek, Jacqueline, Hannah, Heather, Skylyn, Jordan, Sydney, Jacob, Jeffrey, Wade and Katelyn; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Megan, Andrew, Avery, Brooks, Kayleigh, Barrett, Kip, Skylar, Everett, Callahan, Bennie, Violet, Steely, Ryann, Baker, Emily, Abigail, Caleb, Emberlynn, Piper and Wyatt. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (12041 Bittern Hollow, Austin, TX 78758). A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
