He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias G. Mota and Augustina Rosales; his stepmother Mary Mota; and his brother Michael Mauricio. He is survived by: his significant other Janie A. Calderon; his children, Jennifer Mota (Victor), Margarita Davis (Jason) and Marcos Mota; and his grandchildren, Maya, Kira, Geneva and Lucas.
In the last few years of his life, he attended Foundation Church in Dripping Springs, where he deeply loved the messages and the fellowship.
