He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Owens and Lillie Owens; and his wife Mary Burton. He is survived by: his children, Lisa (Tim) of Avinger, TX and Jerry of Fort Worth, TX; and his grandchildren, Nicole Jones of Keller, TX, Andrea Gladney (King) of Hallsville, TX, Annisa Owens of Keller, TX and Sam Moren of Avinger, TX. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Friends of Jefferson Animals, a cause close to his heart.
