With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvis Ray Mitchell of Azle, Texas, who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alvis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alvis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jay" Mitchell and Gladys Mitchell; and his siblings, Patricia Fitzgerald, Jerry Mitchell and Rick Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Mitchell; and his children, John Mitchell (Trina), Donald Mitchell (Me'chelle), Cindy Byrd (Kevin) and Melinda Hormann (Ryane). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
