He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Mae Knotts-Ritchey and Lloyd Ritchey; and his brother Don Ray Ritchey. He is survived by: his wife Millie Ritchey; his son Greg Swift; his daughter-in-law Shelli; his daughter Shannon Marriott; and his sister Carolyn Penn.
