She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alton Pounders and Johnnie Christine Buchanan Mills; her stepfather Joseph Mills; her sister Marilyn Galbraith; her in-laws, Coy Blackmon and Louise Blackmon; her siblings-in-law, Stevie Blackmon and Sissy Burkly; and her grandson Aiden Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Danny Lamar Blackmon; her children, Richie Blackmon, Tracie Blackmon, U'Dana Blackmon, Shawn Henson and Brandon Blackmon; and her siblings, Eddie Brewer, James Pounders and Patricia Pounders. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Breyley Room, Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
