She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Howell and Marguerite Cobb Vinson; her husband Wes Westerfield; her son Don Dent; her stepsons, Johnny, Bob and Jerry Westerfield; her son-in-law John Letsinger; her siblings, Juanita (Victor Neel), Jo (Bill Keasler), Wanda (Willie Dover) and C. T. Vinson; and her grandchildren, Bo Westerfield and Robin Wallace.

She is survived by: her daughter DeeAnn Smith (Jimmy); her stepdaughters, Pat Letsinger and Linda Stevens; her sister-in-law Meloneize Vinson; her grandchildren, Aaron, Stefani Lott, Belinda, Dawn Westerfield and Allen Wood (Patty); and her great grandchildren, Ian Carmichael (Mia), Atticus Lott, Colin Carmichael, Julius Lott, Joy Carmichael, Charlie Lott and Liisa Carmichael. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Community Church (2233 E Hwy 199, Springtown, TX 76082).
