He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxey Wilson Sexton (Helen Virginia McLain-Sexton) and Helen Sexton; his brother Charles Royal Sexton; and his brother-in-law Richard Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Susan Brown Sexton; his children, Shelly Kathryn Sullivan (Lewis), James Anthony Sexton (Krista), Juliet Ann Pumphrey (Blake), Janey Carlisle Mendoza (Manuel) and Virginia Diane Dexter (John); and his sister Janey Kathryn Hampton. He is also survived by grandchildren, 7 precious great-grandchildren.
