He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Maldonado, Sr. and Paula Reyna; his wife Helen Navarro; and his siblings, Anita, Mary, Maggie and Cipriano.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Eric Lanning; his son Armando; his daughter-in-law Delia Maldonado; his daughter Stella; his son-in-law Johnny Bellamy; his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Tisha Maldonado; his siblings, David Maldonado, Antonia Salazar, Albeza Vuitonnet and Lupita Maldonado; and his grandchildren, Richard Gonzales, John Gonzales, Adriana Rodriguez, Heather Abraham, Amber Bryant, Emily Morris, DJ Maldonado, Ray Maldonado, Ashley Whitley and Taylor Huizar. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
