Freddie Darrell Lockaby Obituary
Freddie Darrell Lockaby passed away early Thursday morning, June 12, 2025 in Clyde. He was 81 years old. Freddie was born May 15, 1944 in Edinburg, Texas to Charlie Floyd and Naoma Volna (Bunch) Lockaby.
He married Alice Jane Daniel June 11, 1965 in Roswell, New Mexico. He was a cowboy and a truck driver. Fred enjoyed being a cowboy and listening to country, western and gospel music. He loved his kids, wife and grandchildren and just enjoyed being with his family at get togethers.
Fred was always pulling a prank or threatening to haunt friends and family. He was always loyal and stood behind you. He was a good friend and will be missed.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Noama Lockaby; brothers Floyd Lockaby and Loyd Lockaby; sister Joyce Blevins and great granddaughter Jacie.
He is survived by his wife Alice Lockaby; sons Randy, Anthony and wife Melissa, Jeffrey and wife Mandy; grandchildren Miranda, Jacob, Ryan, Kaylee, Justyn, Raynnie, Charlie, Monte, Brooke, Laci and Hunter; great grandchildren Holden, Briar, Emily, Samantha, Grace, Avri, Hosstyn, Hadley, Zane, Wyatt and Taylor. He is also survived by brother Jack Lockaby and sister Jerelene Jeffcoat.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Ross Cemetery in Baird, with David Acevedo officiating.
