Rose Marie (Rosi) Snyder Obituary
With deep sadness the family of Rose (Rosi) Marie Snyder announce her passing on October 8, 2025, in Clyde, after years of battling cancer. She was born February 24, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Phillip and Mildred G (Holder) Rodriguez.
She graduated from Killeen High School and worked as a cosmetologist in Clyde. Raised an army brat, Rosi lived in Germany many years, and took a dream trip to Ireland in recent years.
Rosi had the very best friends, whom she loved fiercely. She loved her large family of many aunts, uncles, cherished cousins, and greatly loved nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother, devoted daughter, and the best big sister. Rosi was the sweetest and most cheerful soul you could ever hope to know.
Rosi was an integral member of the Abilene Seventh Day Adventist Church. She had a loving, supportive church family that brought her joy and companionship, and cared for her through the good and hard times.
She was preceded in death by her father Phillip, mother Mildred, and brother Rodney Rodriguez.
She is survived by her sons, Austin P. Snyder of Lubbock and Weston R. and Becky Snyder of Abilene; her siblings Phillip Rodriguez and Monica of Clyde, Carla Brown of Baird, Bonnie Esman and Fred of Austin, and Crissy Cerda of Clyde.
Memorial Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Baird, at 2:00pm Saturday, October 18, 2025.
