He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Ruth; his parents, Temple Chadwick and Vira Chadwick; and his siblings, Robert, Dortha Flores, James and Betty June.
He is survived by: his children, Richard, Rhonda Nesbitt, Janet Tafoya, John Jr., Brenda Cordova and David; and his siblings, William, David, Karen Simmons and Jerald. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
