He is survived by : his children, Andrea Mares (Mario), Patsy Salas and Greg Salas (Luz); his grandchildren, Luz Andrea Salas, Nathaniel Isiah Salas and Alexa Noemi Reyes; his great grandchild Analeese Dion Shaw; and his siblings, Janie Garcia, Yolanda Rodriguez, Hortensia Chavarria, Tony Salas (Maria) and Robert Salas (Esmeralda).
