She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie William McCord and JoAnn Deaton; her grandparents, James, Annie Haynes McCord, Willard and Totsie Ellis Deaton; and her sister Mary Sorrells.

She is survived by: her son Steven Sanders (Amber) of Abilene; her brother Jimmy McCord (Sandra) of Burnet Texas; her grandsons, Briley and Brady Sanders; her nephews, Scott, Jimmy, Brandon and Matt; and her niece Staci.
