He was predeceased by: his parents, Galo Alfaro and Eduvijes "Ruby" Alfaro (Hernandez); his wife Catalina Vasquez; his son-in-law Robert Niavez; his great grandchild Alexander Niavez; and his siblings, Luisa Herrera, Yolanda Jalomo, Maria Ornelas, Angelita Jalomo, Rosita Alfaro, Esteven DelaCerda, Tano DelaCerda, Eustacia DelaCerda and Juan DelaCerda.

He is survived by: his children, Paula Alfaro (Michael Butler), Ruby Alfaro Patino (Victor), Maria Pospichal, Yvonne Alfaro, David Lee Alfaro (Velma), Peter Alfaro, Gabriel Alfaro and Vincent Alfaro (Christy). He is also survived by friends and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lange Funeral Home (1910 Hutchings Ave, Ballinger, TX 76821). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (604 N 6th St, Ballinger, TX 76821). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Latin American Cemetery (142 Co Rd 120, Ballinger, TX 76821).
