He was predeceased by : his parents, Reynaldo Cavazos, and Inez Cavazos, Sr. (Moreno); and his brother Joe Cavazos. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Sanchez; his children, Lissette Hacker (Christian), Melissa Esquivel (Jason) and Gilbert Anthony Ayala (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Zaiden Esquivel, Amelia Esquivel, Roel Soto Jr., Alyssa Soto, Alexis Ayala, Mariah Ayala and Jacob Ayala; and his siblings, Reynaldo M Cavazos Jr. (Yolanda), Lydia Luz (Enrique Luz, Sr.) and Irma Perez (Juan).
