With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benedita D. Anchondo of Balmorhea, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 88. As Benedita departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Benedita. Though Benedita may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Dutchover and Herminia Dutchover; her husband Abelardo C. Anchondo; her daughter Maria Isabel A. Jurado; and the parents of child, Louis and Herminia Dutchover.
She is survived by: her sons, Angel (Nancy Dutchover), Abel Anchondo, Demetrio Anchondo and Eddie (Marisa Anchondo). She is also survived by her four brothers, four sisters, 22 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
