It is with sadness that the passing of Larry Wayne of Bandera, Texas is shared. Larry, born on February 1, 1958, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Sheppard and Mary Ann Cobb Sheppard; his grandmother Cobb; his stepparents, Jerry Sullinger and Betty Sheppard; his half-brother Gene Sullinger; and his brother John Lee Sheppard.
He is survived by: his wife Shelly Sheppard; his daughter Stephanie Sheppard Canales; his brothers, David Sheppard, Gary Sheppard and Jerry Sullinger; and his granddaughter Lyndsey Canales.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grimes Funeral Chapels (728 Jefferson St, Kerrville, TX 78028). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
