With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Porter of Bangs, Texas, born in Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on July 27, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Winton Bryan Porter of Excel and Susan Elizabeth Frizzell of Bradford, Arkansas.; his wife Sue Kingsbery; his daughters, Diana (Brandon Johnson) of Brownwood and Mollie (Ross Pehl) of Midland; his grandchildren, Lacy and Jake Pehl; and his cousins, Billie Sue Watts (Bill) of Garland, Janie Steen (Wally) of Newport and Max Shaw (Barbara) of Anson.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Bangs FBC, or the charity of your choice.
