It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles William Carr (Bastrop, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W Carr and Peggy Carr; and his mother-in-law Evangeline Minchew. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Carr; his daughters, Myra Gingold (Larry), Heather Miller (Chris) and Geena Renfro (David); his grandchildren, Taylor (Nathan), Blaine, Peyton, Josh, Brooklyn, Kylie, Aimee, Easton, Braylee, Stevie Rae and Oakley; and his great grandchildren, Lorenzo "Enzo" and Blakely. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home (505 Old Austin Hwy, Bastrop, TX 78602). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
