He was predeceased by: his parents, Clell Shelton and Linda Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Elizabeth Hartwell; and his sons, Riley Hartwell Inks, Thomas Michael Inks, Li Qin Inks and Edward Charles Inks (Hope Hartwell Inks). He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Episcopal Church (603 Spring St, Bastrop, TX 78602). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
