It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Lynn Cook of Bastrop, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on May 16, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugo Koenning and Yvonne Koenning; and her brother Ray Koenning. She is survived by : her husband Maurice Cook; her children, Krystel Burton (Bryan), Kyle Koenning (Molly), Carl Cook (Sheryl) and Marcus Cook (Melissa); and her grandchildren, Caleb Burton, Kourtney Burton, Brant Koenning, Jackson Koenning, Trey Cook, Rebecka Cook, Kolby Cook and Cody Keene.

Memorials may be given to St. Michael's Lutheran Church of Winchester, Texas and Family Worship Center of Elgin, Texas.
