It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Edge of Bastrop, Texas, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhual McCarley and Laura Ann Galant McCarley. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Raymond L. Edge; and her daughter Tanya L. Edge Outland (Lon). She is also survived by 4 siblings; and 5 granddogs.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Old Center Cemetery (Tenaha, TX 75974).
