She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Williams and Millie Hopson Williams; her son Paul DeWayne Palmer; and her siblings, Oneal Williams and Ruth Avernell Pierce.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Palmer; her children, Glen Palmer (Joleen), Kenneth Gene Palmer (Rene) and Kimberly Jane Kirkley; and her siblings, Roy Williams and Carolyn Brent. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
