We are sad to announce that, on March 17, 2024, at the age of 70, Howard Wayne Crawford of Batson, Texas, born in Waco, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepfather Elmer Hanks; his mother Addie Pauline Harlien Hanks; his grandson J. P. "Reed" Lupher; his siblings, Darlene Davenport of Tyler, Joyce Jones of Vidor, Billie Burks of San Antonio, Catherine Rhode of South Carolina, I. D. Lawrence of Sterling City and Rusty Crawford of Mississippi; and his grandparents, Rufus Walter and Minnie May Harlien (Raye) of Corpus Christi.

He is survived by: his wife Laura McCreight Crawford; his daughter Kelly Crawford Lupher (Jake); his grandson Jace "Rooster" Lupher; his in-laws, Weldon, Renee McCreight and Jo Beth Dowdell; his nephew Hunter; his brother-in-law Weldon McCreight; Harvey, Denee, Jake and Weldon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
