He was predeceased by : his mothers, Frances Perew Wilson (Red) and Margaret Frances Wilson; and his daughter Terryn Dee Strahan. He is survived by : his wife Rita Gail Wilson; his children, Summer, Russell Vickery, Jacky, Michelle Winters, Cody and Kasi Bryant; his sister Elaine Lusk (Frank); his grandchildren, Jaci Boles, Gavin Boles, Shane Boles, Hayden Vickery, Kade Vickery, Sarah Vickery, Lexi Bryant, Logan Bryant, Dillon Bryant, Kade Bryant, Cody Starkie, Cole Winters, Blake Strahan, Cody Strahan, Austin Strahan, Lennox, McKall, Axtyn, Ransom, Cove, Tripp and Lyla; his niece Rhonda Bourland; his nephew Gary Lusk; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Lusk, Melissa Lusk, Jessica Bourland and Daniel Bourland.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Faith & Family Funeral Services (40847 TX-105, Batson, TX 77519). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (765 6th St, Sour Lake, TX 77659).
