He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Chesson and Douglas Chesson; his daughter Sylvia Taylor; his great grandchild Ella Blizzard; and his sister-in-law Nancy Stiles.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Taylor Chesson of Batson; his brother-in-law Gerald Stiles; his children, Joycelyn Briscoe (Billy) of Silsbee and Bobby Chesson (Sheila) of Batson; his brother Douglas Chesson (Caroline) of Crossville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Barbie Bohler, Tiffany DeVault (Allen), Tabitha Freeman (Clint), Jesse Bohler, Tommi Deckert (Trey), Bradley Chesson (Kayla), Charles Curtis Chesson, Taylor Cantrell, Kristin Brittain (Joe) and Collin Chesson (Victoria); his great grandchildren, Kyle, Xayla, Carter Chesson, Glynna Whisler, Bryce, Gracelyn Hazelwood, Kobyn Freeman, Trever Hanks, Madelyn DeVault, Emma Jones, Justin Labat, Taylor Emahiser, Treysen, Trinyti Deckert, Mathew Cantrell, Vayda Coke, Charli Blizzard, Bowen Brittain, Cayse, Callie Chesson and Giselle Seiter; and his great great grandchildren, Dawson, Destiney and Clay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
