He is survived by: his wife Karol Trahan; his children, Kent Trahan, Paul Trahan, Tyler Ward and Jordan Ballard (Michael); his grandchildren, Addison, Corey and Declan; and his siblings, David Trahan (Tammy) and Kathy McCarble (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
