He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Sidney and Myrtle Maude Barnett McDaniel; and his siblings, Marvin, Henry, Roy, Elton McDaniel, Leona McDaniel, Lois Hill and Myrtle Chiles.
He is survived by: his wife Eurith McDaniel of Baytown, Texas; his children, Pamela Kurz, Gary McDaniel (Kellie) of Mont Belvieu and Deloyd McDaniel (Leslie) of Denham Springs, Louisiana; his brother Garlon "Buddy" McDaniel of Baytown, Texas; and his grandchildren, Cody McDaniel, Charliessa Gardner (Dalton) of Angelton, Jessica Klonaris (Billy) of Friendswood and Laura Lofton (James) of Mont Belvieu. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and a host of many nieces and nephews.
