He is survived by: his father Randle Dean Thomas (Virginia); his wife Amy; his children, Maybree and Case; his sister Whitney Samadani (Amir); his in-laws, Dave and Karen Turk; his brother-in-law Ben Turk (Maggie); and his nieces and nephews, Randi, Lane, Landon Samadani, Dottie Turk, Eladio, Miguel, Manuel, Brittney and Evelyn Salinas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in honor of Maybree and Case to help assist with their future education expenses.
