He was predeceased by: his former wife Viola Alaffa; his parents, Eligia Alaffa and Domingo Alaffa; his siblings, Amado Alaffa, Domingo Alaffa, Amaro Alaffa and Martha Delarosa; his son-in-law Juan Medina; and his grandson Aaron Medina.
He is survived by: his wife Altagracia Alaffa; his children, Vilma Richarte (Felix), Hector Alaffa, Jilma Lopez (Cruz), Brenda Medina, Mirtha Morales (Juan), Ramiro Alaffa, Jr. (Amanda) and Jaime Alaffa (Araceli); and his sister Delia Molina. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Navarre Funeral Home (2444 Rollingbrook Dr, Baytown, TX 77521). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Navarre Funeral Home Chapel (2444 Rollingbrook Dr, Baytown, TX 77521).
